So, i have been stuck waayyy tooo long on my natural looks... i love em.. but when a color like this comes along, i cant help but to wear it LOUD!

i usualy use a small amound of it.. but this time i took a BIG risk..

Main Color, PARTYLICIOUS pigment by MAC

PS. This color stays, when applied with a mixing medium will stay that same color it looks like, in the containers, but when mixed w/ a medium... it becomes more blue green, than a turqiouse blue.. and i mixed mine with MAC fix+ for this look..

Your idea of the perfect first date.

Well since I am happily taken, I am going to still describe a PERFECT date… I have had many, many great dates with my boyfriend… but I will describe the “PERFECT DATE”
I would want to be somewhere different first of all.. I think I would love to be out in the country, no one around.. We would drive to this place, just me and him.. We would rent a house, I would also like to be next to a lake.. We would also have no cell phones, internet or TV… just a something that can produce music … we would have Bob Dylan- Lay Lady Lay playing… while eating dinner.. Than after I would want to dance next to the lake at night.. And finally have rose peddles everywhere on my bed as we…. Lol haha! No I’m joking… but I would love all this to happen…

I have many wonderful days with my Love… nothing will ever be perfect, sorry.. That is just my way of thinking… lol and we are always happy when life makes you smile… lol the times me and my boyfriend did disappear… for a couple of days, we had everyone yelling at us when we came back.. But we were in bliss…

Lol I can tell you about that (keep reading, if not :] until my next beauty post) lol
So my boyfriend and I thought it would be fun(at night) to pack our bags, and start driving up the coast, PCH… we reached Malibu, CA lol we obviously didn’t drive far, but we got to this point where it was beautiful… and we decided to check into a hotel, so we did, got showerd after driving.. got all dressed up, went to a local bar, had drinks, he sang on the stage, we had more drinks… walked on the beach at night… *coughs* “sat on the beach” and came back to the hotel, listening to music, showered, sleeeeeept and the next day went into town and just relaxed and ate at a small restraunt, shopped a lil (for me) and drove back home… lol man, when we got home.. Everyone was worried! But that was a great couple of days I had with my BF.. We do it every once in awhile..
Haha ok I suck at this but… until tomorrow :]

This picture was that night we drove up there.. we look like we are standing on the beach, but we are at the edge of a cliff! i thought i was beautiful cause we could see the moonlight just shinning on the water.. you can see the small waves near us... but that is faaaarrrrr down... a song by The Doors- Moonlight Drive reminds me of our weekend... man, i do love him.

ok so if you follow me on Twitter... you know already i LOVE hot rollers! idk there is just i love about putting them in my hair, doing my makeup and taking them out! hmmm i know... because its so simple!

Reason What I Love About Them:

1. They heat up fast, but not super hott where if i touch the barrel i get burn

2. I DO NOT GET BURNED!

3. I leave them in for 15 (depends out much of a curl you want)

4. I dont have to spend time curling and re-curling parts, i easily gather them up in section and boom! im done!

5. They are not heavy, i dont feel like im where a motorcycle helmet!

6. They Were cheap!

7. THEY GIVE ME SO MUCH VOLUME, I DO NOT USE HAIRSPRAY AFTER! AND THEY STAY LIKE THIS FOR MANY HOURS!

ok... so heres a really simple look... when i get a new eyeshadow or something, the first thing i do is use it as a eyeliner.... is that weird? lol cause i like the color, but not always sure if i should use it all over my lid you know?

so i got the holiday gift things with the pigments.. the one i got was 5 Cool Capers Mini Pigments/Giltters.. and havent used them! so i thought it was time :]

yes, i think these poses are what ill always do! lol it works best for me.. more true to the colors w/ no flash just real sun light...
i spray MAC Fix+ on my brush, then grab the pigment..

i f'n love this color! ugh.. its so pretty!

My Lazy Hair Do!

Hello Ladies!

ok, so i just want to share a quick thing or style thing on how i do my "LAZY" hair lol...

so everyday i take a shower in the morning i always use either:

-Dove: Body & Lift Volumizing Mouse...

-Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mouse..

and i honest will leave my hair down, wet... and while im driving to work i let it air dry, since i dont have much hair and my hair is.. i think kinda short... it dry super fast on its own...

so blah blah, i got on w/ my day, but say if im gonna go out, i will do this :]

STEPS:

1. Grab all my hair, as if i am going to put it in a pony tail...

2. Twist it all the way until the ends....and do it kinda tight..
3. The wrap it completly into a bun... use a hair clips... and let it set....
so then i go onn w/ my makeup, get dressed and within the 20min or so... i will just unwrap it.

and this is what my hair looks like.... i just fluff it a little bit... to seperate, but this is my end result... :]

Because i always buy Nose Strips & they get exspensive! and then i had seen this on the Ellen show & thought... ill give it a try... which is try using glue... not crazy glue... but normal craft glue... and i did yeah... it worked... but the smell i hated! lol ill post the vid at the bottom of the post :]

& then i seen this on thier website! so i gave it a shot.

-i love this way more than buy nose strips... seriously...

-its so easy to apply.. it really does have the same consistantsy as glue.

-this drys withing 3 mins, no joke. not like a strip, sometimes as 10mins!

-it smells so good, it does not a have flower or fuirty sent, but a more calm one.

-it really feels like it pulling out everything from my nose, i have huge pores on my nose & on the highlight of my cheeks... and this things gets everything out. lol i think i might ever try on it on the highlight of my cheeks.. shh! >_<

- it makes me skin so smooth after.

WHAT I DIDNT LIKE:

-it hurts a bit when peeling this baby off! lol everyone has fine hair well damn! this thing took them all off! i think thats why it felt super smooth after!

--That is seriously ther only thing bad with this product... it hurts just a smudge more than a strip would... but ehh... i know it working, so i could take a small minute of a small pain!

ok so i kinda gave in to these >_<
lol i bought ONE of them, and had to get another!
these wear like the DazzleGlass... didnt really think much of them, but when i got my hands on one... i needed more! lol

so i originally got "Just A Smidge" & fell in love with this! & well i went back to go get "Moist Plum" & thats when i liked "Full Of Grace" alot :] lol
ok so its plain on the container it has SPF 20! which is the main reason i got it. i dont usually look for lip products w/ sunblock in them... and i figured since its summer (all late, i know) i need some lip protection :]

NOTE! i will have to say... they are pretty thick & have a slight smell of "Sun Screen" to them... but not alot... and these baby last! (like i said they are pretty thick) but if you dont like sticky lip products... you might wanna to go in the store & test them out for sure! im serious...

NOTE! "Full Of Grace" is the only one that doesnt have much glitter at all... which i thought was weird cause everyone else does... unless it just hasnt appeared yet... like it hasnt made its entrance yet lol... idk... maybe it really doesnt & wont have glitters.

Vibrating Mascara

Prices: About $13 (i got mine at Target)

ok, so what it says;
7 Must-Haves Of Lash Perfection
1- Luscious Thickness

3- Smooth Separation
4- Intense Color

7- Zero Clumps
What I Like About it:
1. The first coat was the best! the little vib helps seprate it... i didnt keep apply it w/ little strokes... all i had to do was hold it at the base and slowly pull away.
2. I curl my lashes before, and this didnt make my lashes fall.. usually for me a Brand New mascara tends to be super heavy on the mascara on the applicator... but it didnt make them drop.
3. They stayed seprated & didnt clump!
4. It really is a Rich Dark Black...
5. I thought the vib sound was going to be loud & suprisinly its not.. its a small humming sound.

What i kinda don't like about it:
1. Its battery operated (duh!) so it might be a small inconvience to have to change it... i mean if you keep it for 3 months... it might die on you.

At the end of the applicator is the little button you push.

i think its a decent size.

Now compared to a Bare Essentials BUXOM Lash Mascara... its smaller.

the BE Buxom Msacara is my HG of mascara.. so thats why I am comparing them... i also did an older post doing a review on the BUXOM click here :]

& i noticed this looked small than the BE.... so i did some home work :]

How much these suckers have!:

BE- 11ml / 0.37 FL Oz

Maybellin- 6.5ml / .22 FL Oz

ok.... so its about half the amount as BUXOM! lol and almost the same prices!

kinda broke my heart... but i think it still works the same! and i do love it... but next time ill just shell out the rest of the cash to get my BUXOM :P

ok so straight to it :]

1. Ernie & Our New Home: and these are really my number one in my life... Ernie, and now my new life with Ernie... we have been through so much, with our ups and downs, hard turns to the left & right. and still we have made it this far... and now we took it to the next level... we have our own home :] i love him with my heart & soul... he is apart of everything i am, and i grately appriciate how close we have stayed... things and people have come and gone in our life... but still nothing has been able to tears us apart... people have tried and put things in both our minds... but we have both known for a long time now... how can you leave your happiness... Im so happy, I have my Cake & I am able to eat it too!

2. My Parents: They mean the world to me, i love them with every energy with my body! we may have our differences sometimes... but most of the time & moslty now we are really good... times are hard & we have always stayed together... we have problems within our family, but thats what we are FAMILY... they are my heros, and i am very proud to be thier daughter :]

3. Simple Life: It makes me very happy to have a simple life :] i think i do most of the time... & have seriously cut out everything & everyone who's made our life difficult, like i said before... people try and bring you down, when they are... so im so happy living the way i live..

4. Painting! : this is Color Me Mine... lol i love this place so much! i took this pic, when i did my moms bday present. What you do is pick out a piece you want to paint... paint it & then they fire it & glaze it :] and you get a finished product all made by you! but this place is so calm... all i need is my ipod & and im set for a wonderful evening painting :]

5. New Places: i love looking for new & different places... it just makes me happy to see places that are so unique... lol idk how to explain the feeling you get when you see or experince something like this :]

6. Driving: lol may sound weird, but i love driving, by myself & w/ no traffic... driving is another way for me to relax, idk why... i mean i dont like day dream lol i am a good driver (no accidents on my record hehe) lol but idk i love to get in my car, with music playing...

7. Local Vintage Clothing Store: La Bomba! i took this the last time i went :p this is my local vintage clothing store which i visit mostly once a week... lol mostly for jewlery lol.... they only have one other location which is in Long Beach, CA but im so glad they are here!

8. Reading: it doesnt matter if its book or magazine... i love reading anything interesting to me... i used to say i dont like certain things... but now ill read it first before i knock it ;] lol i mean, i never thought i would want to ready about makeup... now look at me! lol but i love to sit outside on summer night, with the small breez & just zone out...

9. MakeUp: yes... i wont get too much into this only because i have tons of other post reguarding MAKEUP! lol so rest assure I LOVE MAKEUP!

10: Banksy! : i love his stencil art work... he is like no other... i dont think Andy comes close to this man... I think Andy copied and tweeked other peoples work & icons... & Banksy has recreated them... just check him out for yourself.

11. Traveling: is kinda the same as seeing new places... but i think its different, i mean i want to travel! i want to see other places than the US or even just the far east! far North! lol ive been to TX to thats kinda coverd >_<

FOTD: 4th Of July & Baby Shower

Hello Loves!

how was everyone 4th of July!!!
i hope everyone had lots & lots of food, beer, fireworks & tons of fun with family & friends! well i know i sure did :] well this year we had our small party at Ernis Uncles house& his grandparents came over too :]
so i decided i didnt want to show up empty handed so i made what i looove to make CUPCAKES! lol and i found these wonderful shapes too! lol what better than stars on 4th of july! so yeah here are my newest creations:]
i divided the cake mix & add food coloring... so its not just the frosting that colored, the insides are too!

and well i had white... but you get the idea! & then i had some of the the stars left over & i was gonna make Jello too! so i just filled the rest of my stars with Jello, you know for the kids :] lol & just added one strawberry to each of the stars :]
but then i did just make a huge bowl of the Jello w/ Strawberrys :]

then added some sprinkle in the shapes of stars too :] lol

soooooo the beauty part! this was my simple 4th Of July Look.... it was so hott, i didnt want to put on alot... but still i wanted to be some what related to the 4th, so i went as simple as i could... black eyeliner & red lips ;]

:] i hope everyone had a great weekend!

gotta love L.A. baby!

anyways, yeah this post isnt beauty related, but want to share my funny-busy weekend! im so happy right now in life! Me & Ernie are great! having fun redoing the house, it didnt need any work, but we wanted to change it, to make it more US! you know what i mean lol... so yeah this is just a quick view of my days & lost more to come!

so nothing special, just on friday started everything!

omg im trying to get him to buy me these! thes suckers are $70 each! but i fucking want them so baaaaad! come on who wouldnt want some hott chick in thier home ;] lol
& then of course went to Lowes, we got pick the tile for the bath room... which took forever cause we couldnt decide! too many option! so i told him lets go basic! less work for us lol simple is better!

which we found the exact color tile that we are gonna paint he bathroom, which is this green! all the tile will be white, with these, but only like a border at the rim... you get me? like or no like?

so we also bought a new sink, since the old one was a bulky counter top, so to make more room, we bought just the sink bowl & the pedestal, new fosits & a new toilet seat!

& we took out the medicine cabinet, cause i figure, we'll just put junk it in so yeah we're gonna put just a basic mirror :]

then when we got back home, since i got to patch up all the whole, but the previous owner made, from like the door knob slamming into the wall! i got to use the sand blaster! yay! so he was showing my 1st how to use it!

then i got to! lol which was funn at 1st, but then my hands kept goingt numb! but it was aot of work!

lol since the dust blew everywhere! we got to see what we would look like in about35 yrs! lol old Ernie w/ grey hair! lol i had to take a pic!

then he thought i looked cute tooo! so he took one of me! but from my face you can see i wasnt laughing... that he wanted my pic too!

& did a lil yard work, since all the grass is pretty much dried up! & we have nice palm trees in from, so we pulled all the weeds & he dug the holes for them when we water.

then just came home, & he worked on the truck some more... he's replacing the whole engine! (since he bought a much bigger one.... ugh boys & thier toys!)

i sat there playing w/ Copper!

& pushing Susely in the sing, which she fell asleep in :]
& later after showering we had the girls for a bit before we went out o play that night :]
we to the movies... & me being a dork in the empty bath room :]

then we went o his friends family bday party, the 2 guys on the right are twin! lol Alex & Adan... go figure :] twins w/ the same 1st letter lol but they have become really close... which im happy cause i like them way more than his other friends...

so yeah my fun, crazy weekend w/ my love, family , friend & um of course! ^ beer! haha! ill be posting something beauty related soon! i already order my stuff from MAC on thier 25% off family & friends sale! yay! & i got another haul from MAC, but have posted it, so ill make a vid on ALL my MAC HAULS! :] so talk to you beautys later!

& i always order From Coastal Scents the 28 EyeShadow Neutral Palette, because i love Neutrals all the time! rarely will i have a look on, without a neutral color on my eyes, yes i do wear bight colors, but i have neutral on too! so i had been thinking about this for a long time so yeah :] i like it!

& i have had my eyes on the MAC 109 Brush, but then i heard that Coastal Scents had a dupe! so i got :] and i love it! its made alot like my BareMinerals brushes, which i love because their so dense! and the bristle i love!

lol sry, they are different colors, but i used my brush, before i got my package but they are the same type of bristles

& at CVS (i think) lol they had some things on sales so i had to!!! & the NYC quad was usually 5bucks, & got it for $2!! & Tammy said it was a good quad so i want to give it a shot...

this quad is called "Union Square"

& also, i have been wanting to make these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! since forever! & Finally i said ok im gonna make em! & they took forever & a day! omg! i didnt think it was gonna be that hard, at first i put too much, they freaking baked as big as a muffin! lol then i put too little! lol finally i was able to get the right amount so that my cupcake didnt look like it was meant for Paul Bunyan! lol

i just used regular "white cake mix" usually you can use it for cakes or cupcake (which ever) & i separated it in 5 parts & made each lil bowl a different color! then placed a small amount of each color into one! cupcake! the inside is kinda off shape, but who cares! lol and i just placed regular white frosting & some rainbow sprinkles :] but i think they came out so cute! and the food coloring i bought, was so vibrant!

and i had to keep my BF AWAY! from the kitchen, long enough to make them, bake, let cool, & decorate! lol then after we had one... or a couple hehe :] lol we Finlay went to Lowe's to look for a paint color! we're going to paint all the room, because everything is a simple white or off white! blah! i told him i want some color.....! so yeah lol this is what we came out with!

then we went o the house, to trying & see, what would match with the cabinets & tile, and since we're taking out the counter top & placing WHITE marble, lol we need it to match of course! lol so yeah.... phew. my BF will pick one thing, than say... or maybe this one it isnt at bight... then i say, but this is more rich in color... than he says ok... we put the colors away! then he gets um again, but what about this color (which is the 1st color he picked) and i say no! i want to more richer color, than he agrees yeah your right... lol we've had the same convo about 6x already! LOL I already told him, your not going w/ me when i go buy the actually paint, because than your just going to change your mind again!

Beauty Tips For Going GREEN! & Update.

ugh things have been so busy... and i miss bloggin it down... so this will be a long post, with my week shoved in it... but when i went w/ my sister on her field trip i bought this book.. "The Green Book" go figure... and it alot alot of great ideas to go GREEN! lol but im only posting Beauty Products... cause duh, mine is a beauty blog :]

Foundation:
Opt for foundation in a simple recyclable (or reusable) glass container over one sold in a non recycled plastic tube or bottle. The manufacturing energy saved by avoiding the plastic containers could run the light bulb in your makeup mirror for more than 7hours. If one in twenty woman chose glass over plastic packaging for her next foundation purchase, the energy conserved could fill a twenty-gallon gas tank once a week for twenty years.

Lipstick:
Given that the average woman may inadvertently ingest more than four pounds of lipstick in her lifetime, you'll want to look for lip color made from plant derived ingredients instead of from synthetic oils, paraffin waxes, and toxins coral tar dyes (look for FD&C or D&C followed by a color and number). If one in five lipsticks wearers began demanding plant-based options, total petroleum product consumption would decrease by more than 825,000 pounds per year.

Mascara:
Your best choice for mascara is one that is made from plants and minerals instead of from petroleum products. However, if this is not a viable options for you, avoid varieties that come in plastic bubble packs on cardboard backings. This unnecessary waste contributes to the fact that more than a quarter of the volume of Americana's trash is packing 525 pounds per person per year on average.

Eyeliner:
You can minimize waste by buying eyeliner pencils encased in wood instead of pencils or liquid contained within plastic. Wood shavings have the potential to biodegrade, whereas most plastics do not. If one in twenty eyeliner users switched from using plastic-encased pencils to wooden ones, nearly ten thousand pounds of plastic could be saved.

Eye Shadow:
If you use pressed eyeshadow, choose a brand that provides a reusable compact with slots for refills. Each time you buy a refill instead of an entirely new container, you'll reduce your cost, the amount of energy used to produce and ship the hard plastic, glass or chrome packaging (some of which come with mirrors), and the amount of waste you discard when its empty. If one in twenty-five woman chose refillable eye shadow, more than 350,000 pounds of wasted cosmetics containers could be saved each year.

Lotions:
If the lotion you usually buy comes with a pump dispenser, you can avoid sending another hand pump to the landfill by purchasing a refill container with a flip top and just reusing your empty bottle. If 10 percent of U.S. households made a onetime purchase of a lotion bottle without an attached pumps to fill nearly 1,200 tanning booths from floor to ceiling.

Deodorant:
When you buy deodorant, try to avoid antiperspirants, which use aluminum salts to seal up your pores. In addition to being potential health toxin, aluminum takes a tremendous amount of energy to mine. If you buy one stick of aluminum-free deodorant, the energy saved could power your lab top for thirty minutes. If 5% of adults switched antiperspirants for good, the value of the annual energy savings could buy 250 new computers for U.S. class every year.

Soap:
Use bars of soap verse liquid wash. It's less expensive, and it saves packaging waste. The average bar of soap last for about 20 showers, whereas 16 ounce bottle of body wash last for an average of 8 showers. But body wash cost on average more than four times as much as soap. If every U.S. household replaced a bottle of body wash with a bar of soap, roughly 2.5 million pounds of plastic containers could be diverted from the waste stream.

Shaving Gel/Foam:
If you choose to buy shaving gel (as opposed to just using soap or body wash) avoid the aerosol variety. Although aerosol chemicals no longer deplete the ozone layer, those chemicals have been replaced by petroleum propellants that are discharged with the foamy pro ducting products, you could reduce your direct consumption of petroleum by nearly 1/2 pound per year. If 10% of households chose alternatives to aerosol shave gels and foams, the petroleum savings from the propellants alone could light 270,000 households for a month.

Bath Salts/Bubble Bath:
If you buy bath salts or bubble bath, try to buy concentrated varieties. For example, bubble bath brand that recommend 1table spoon (1/2 ounce, or one cupful) per bath will last twice as long as those suggest one ounce (two cupfuls) per bath. If you buy a 16ounce plastic bottle of bubble bath every other month and switch to a more concentrated version, you could save about one-quarter pound of plastic and $10 to $20 per years or more. If one in one hundred households decreased its bubble bath purchases in this way, the savings would total 250,000 pounds of plastic. This much plastic could build a wading pool the size of Wrigley Field.

Shampoo:
Look for shampoo bottle made from post consumer recycled plastic which helps reuse plastic and cuts down on waste. Also, its takes less energy to make a recycled plastic than it does to make virgin plastic. For example, if you buy a single 13once shampoo bottle that contains 25% post consumer materials, the energy saved would be enough to blow-dry your hair for 10minutes. If 1 in 10 U.S. households purchased shampoo in a bottle made from recycled materials, the energy conserved could wind-power 160homes for an entire year.

Conditioner:
Consider using a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner instead of buying each separately. You'll not only save on money and packaging, but you'll likely save addition time, water and money by reducing the length of your shower. If 1 in 7 U.S. households replaced its shampoo and conditioner purchase with a single 2 in 1 bottle, the amount of plastic saved per year could fill a football field 27 stories high.

Hair Dye:
If you purchase at-home hair color, you may be gentler on the environment by choosing semi- or demi-permanent dyes with plant-based pigment as opposed to permanent varieties with synthetic dyes.

Perfume/Cologne:
Try switching to a perfume or cologne that contains natural, pure botanical ingredients. Most conventional fragrances product contain chemicals derived from petroleum and are linking negatively to environmental health effects. Because 800 million pound of these chemicals are used per year to make fragrances products, they are considered to be one of the most prevalent toxins in the environment.

Baby Oil:
Try choosing oils made from seeds of fruits and nuts instead of from the refinement of petroleum. Baby oil, or minerals oil, is a by-products of gasoline production. About 1hundred million gallons of mineral oil are used each year in the U.S.- an amount equal to about 25% of the E.S. daily consumptions of gas.

Cotton Balls:
Check to make sure the cotton balls you buy are actually made from cotton, as some cotton balls contain polyester. The production of polyester a synthetic material that's related to plastic- uses 67% more energy than the production of Cotton. Also, consider looking for organic cotton balls or Cotton balls bleached without chlorine, which are better for the health of your family as well as for the environment.

Sponges:
Instead of buying a synthetic nylon sponge, consider using a completely natural and biodegradable loofah or a plain reusable washcloth. Since nylon is made from petroleum and cant be recycled, you'll conserve the energy used to make it, as well as the environmental sot of disposing of it. If 1 in 50 Americans used a sustainable alternative to the nylon puff, it would save a sponge big enough to sop up almost a million square-foot flood of water.

Tampons:
Try to buy organic tampons. The pesticides and bleaches used in conventional cotton tampons are pollutants in air, water and soil. If just 1 in 20 woman switched to organic tampons, we could eliminate 750,000 pound of pesticides annually.

Hello Ladies!

i know, i didnt post anything beauty related in my last post.

but i really wanted to share with you, something i had been longing to see!

ahhh, im still so happy & still feel so peaceful :] & Ernie got his Keys to his house!!!

and he officialy asked me to move in with him!! :] lol its not like we have everything packed & completly ready to move in...

we still need to patch minor hole, like spot where people used nails..

and we're gonna paint, replace one toilet seats, yuk lol

& gonna replace the tile on the countertop to put granit,

& put shower doors up and just alot more work, you know.

lol but my moms not too happy ill be moving, and we havent told my dad yet,
